Does BTL Vanquish Work?​
Vanquish ME is used for non-contact, radio frequency treatment of troublesome subcutaneous fat. This may be fat that has proven resistant to diet and exercise. Thanks to the applicator’s large size and innovative design, large areas can be addressed in one treatment session, including the abdomen, flanks, inner thighs, saddlebags, and love handles.
Positive results can be seen after the first treatment, with the best appearing around 4 weeks after the final treatment. The results of the Vanquish procedure are permanent, as the fat cells are destroyed and removed. Therefore, they will not return.
Destroys Resistant Fat Cells
Vanquish is FDA-cleared for circumferential reduction of the waist and destroys resistant fat cells to achieve a beautifully contoured abdomen and trim waistline. These are painless, non-invasive fat reduction treatments that target heat into the fat layer while protecting the surrounding skin. Vanquish ME creates a high-frequency energy field and employs a panel array to treat the entire core in one application.
Fat cells will go through apoptosis (natural cell death) if kept below or above certain temperature thresholds for extended periods. Vanquish heats the fat cells to 43-45 degrees Celsius, which is the required temperature to initiate apoptosis. The overlying skin and muscles below the subcutaneous fat stay at a cooler temperature due to their naturally higher moisture level.
